enSoie: What are your very first memories of clothes?
Basile: My grandfather’s shirts, and the smell of his cologne lingering on them.
What outfit from your youth still lives in your head?
Luna: A vintage Balenciaga jacquard turtleneck that belonged to my mother, which I wore with cropped black velvet trousers and Repetto Zizi shoes.
Are you loyal to certain brands/designers?
Luna: Charvet or Brooks Brothers for shirts and pyjamas, and Weston for shoes.
What detail makes a garment feel “luxury” to you?
Basile: The quality of the fabric.
